The PYB 2 Specialist Centre is located on Deakin’s western fringe immediately adjacent to the Calvary John James Memorial Hospital and is just 2.9km from Capital Hill. The Deakin healthcare precinct is in close proximity to the Royal Australian Mint and is easily accessible by vehicle from Kent Street, via the arterial Adelaide Avenue.

The preferred route for stage two of Canberra’s light rail network runs along Adelaide Avenue, with two proposed station locations offering access to the precinct. On completion, Canberra’s light rail network will link Woden in the south with Gungahlin in the north, via the City.
